I cannot believe I have neglected blogging for so long. Life has been good but busy and my priorities have been elsewhere. But I love reading other blogs and It’s about freaking time I get back into it myself.
The last couple of years have been very exciting and challenging for me as I have tried to develop other directions in my photography business. My first Love is my Creative Fine art portraits and that has finally become a big part of my business and I have clients from near and far booking these sessions with me. I would love love love to do that on a bigger scale on an international basis. Forever I have also enjoyed immensely to teach and to share my knowledge and my enthusiasm over photography and my dream is to do this around the world. As I have been competing in photography the past few years, new opportunities have risen and I am working hard towards my dream of combining traveling and teaching and creative photography across borders and into our beautiful world out there.
Then came Corona. What a dreadful, terrible, scary pandemic it is. Our world just toppled up side down and we lost our possibilities to plan for the future.
So we all had to step back and stop what we were doing and then regroup and find new ways. Everything is not bad. There are opportunities that presents themselves in this new reality. My brain is overflowing with ideas and I need to start focusing on maybe 2-3 of them and get them off the ground. It’s very easy to loose myself in too many thoughts and possibilities. Focus is what is necessary right now.. and of course having a little bit of summertime with my family.
Speaking of family: My baby girl still wants to shoot with mommy sometimes and this is a portrait from earlier this spring when I tested a new background.
